Get FAR

Let's Get FAR-Far in where we are destined to go in our lives. I'm not talking about going yolo & pursuing, "take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry" kind of lifestyle. It's dead, I've done that. Living under an unknown agenda & staring at the clock in hopes something thrilling is bound to happen, but to burst your bubbles, I've lived that life and there is much greater purpose to life than we know it. My desire is to get far, far in life to do the best I can to share my faith in Christ, the great news about Jesus. (F)itness has been engraved in my life because I grew up being the "fat kid." I grew up being told to be skinny, but being fit is the proper formula, not skinny. (A)nd lastly, (R)eal, let's be real with ourselves. Let's talk about real life issues and I will emphasize how my faith in Christ has brought me this far in which I had doubted since the beginning that I would walk away from my faith, but here I am today.. You ready to go far with me?

God bless

Call me a neat freak but I like to keep everything organized! So excited and blessed to be serving in the Children’s ministry (:

This young man is always clinging next to me. Wherever I go, he’s right there. Even when I make a trip to the bathroom, he’s runs his paw on the door. He always wants to be wrapped in my arms. This reminds me of myself and God. How much am I pursuing God? Am I abiding in Him, clinging onto Him, following wherever He goes, and not ashamed that my dependence is on Him? We have a tendency to try to go on our own, but we end up on a different plan, and definitely not God’s. There are times when this guy acts up, that I have to teach him lesson. God too does the same to us. Have a blessed Sunday.

Been logging my calorie intake and outtake for the lady 40 days. Lost 6 lbs in the last three weeks. Not sure how much body fat I lost but two weeks ago I was down 0.1% from the week before. This is not a diet, it’s called changing to a better, healthier lifestyle. Diets fade. And the next time you stuff your face with something that’ll pack on all that weight, don’t complain about why you’re not seeing results and not making the commitment. #eatcleantrainmean is the motto.

Hello Internet/outernet. I know I haven’t posted up or filmed much. Yet there is so much that I want to share. Summer break is close. I have no excuse. However, God has answered my prayer in search of stretching my faith. I am excited to say that I will be serving His church in the children’s ministry. If you’ve noticed especially with the changes, I’ve integrated the fitness aspect of my life. People tend to quickly judge thinking I want to be skinny, but it’s only cause I want to be healthy and useful for God. Muscles play a huge role because as we get older, we lose it. But in the other hand, I’ve avoided processed food and have engaged in cooking my own meals. It’s nice to know exactly what I am eating. I’m thinking of being a weekend group exercise instructor since I can just teach one hour a week. It won’t feel like I’m working two jobs at all. I think it’s another great way to engage in this world, but only if it’s God willing. I am seeking His advice and permission. If not, I will fully understand that it’s not on His agenda. Overall, I am excited with the doors He has opened for me. I know the enemy is going to turn it up a notch. I’m not worried, I’m armored in Christ.

God bless you all!
